I love to race! It’s exhilarating! It’s my own personal drug. I love the feelings of euphoria, excitement, nervousness, and pure adrenaline I get when I race (or even just train). I don’t know how everyone doesn’t feel the same way about racing or exercise. It is not a chore or something that I have to do, but a way of life! My way of life. I know some people may not understand it, some may think I’m Crazy…but those to understand, just get it. I wish everyone could feel this way.

2012 Race Season
Last season I was training specifically for the Age Group Nationals Olympic Distance Triathlon in Burlington, Vermont on August 18th! All of my races and training were leading up to this race are just preparation for Age Group Nationals where my personal goal was to place top-18 in my age group to qualify for Worlds 2013.
So, I all of my workouts are with one thought in mind…
GO FASTER!!!!
GO HARDER!!!!
IF I DON’T FEEL LIKE I’M GOING TO THROW UP, I PROBABLY NEED TO WORK HARDER!
I will continue to blog all of my race updates and reports…but check out my posts on all of my races so far. I have learned a lot about racing in the past 10 years of running and doing triathlons about myself and life.
